ALL BEARABY SOOTHING THROWS

Throw Blankets

Designed to create cocoons of comfort that soothe your senses.

Throw blankets are one of the easiest ways to elevate a space — a pop of color, a layer of texture, and a source of soft, grounding warmth all in one. Draped across the foot of a bed, folded over an armchair, or wrapped around you on the couch, the right throw turns any corner of your home into an invitation to slow down and rest.

Our Muslin Cocoon is crafted from six lofty layers of GOTS- and OEKO-TEX-certified organic cotton, giving it a fuller, medium-weight drape that settles gently around you — substantial enough to truly cocoon, yet airy enough to keep you cool. The open muslin weave lets air and moisture move freely, so it stays breathable in summer and cozy in winter, without ever overheating.

Fully reversible in two contrasting tones and finished with hand-sewn whipstitch detailing, each Cocoon is made to be styled as beautifully as it's meant to be wrapped around you. Available in coordinating Napper shades, it layers effortlessly beneath your weighted blanket as a soft, breathable second skin — comfort and calm you can see and feel, all year round.

Frequently Asked Questions

A throw blanket can be any blanket that is smaller than a bedspread. Throw blankets are generally designed to be used by one person, adding warmth, comfort, and a decorative element to your space. Because of their small size, it’s easy to use them on a bed or a couch, or transport them between rooms.

Throw blankets are usually used for two main purposes: decorations and warmth. Our throw blankets are all designed to feel as good as they look, and help you unwind as you curl up at the end of a long day. Throw blankets like our Muslin Cocoon can also be used as a sensory tool, providing a comforting swaddle.

Bedspreads are usually sized for a full bed, so they’re larger than throw blankets. Throw blankets are smaller than bedspreads and more versatile: they can be easily used on couches, chairs, and beds. Throw blankets can also serve a more decorative purpose, while bedspreads are primarily used for warmth.

Our throw blankets measure 54” x 72” — large enough to comfortably cover a full person and to layer with a weighted blanket.

Although they aren’t designed to cover a full bed, throw blankets can be a comforting addition to your bedding set. You can style a throw blanket on your bed by folding it in half lengthwise and draping it across the foot of your mattress. This way, you’ll have an extra layer of warmth and comfort that you can reach for when it’s time to count sheep.
