      Wonderfully cool!

      This is our third weighted blanket. It’s definitely the lightest we’ve gotten, but it’s also the most breathable. We don’t get super hot or feel trapped like some of the others. The pattern is gorgeous with our decor, and would look great on top of or layered with blankets on a bed!

      I never considered getting a weighted blanket until my previous girlfriend got a cheap one off Amazon a year ago. I never tried hers but did start reading into the benefits of them. I actually saw the Bearaby knitted one years back and thought it "looked really cool" so I just recently returned to looking at them and saw they now have a king sized version in stock that would cover my entire queen bed with side overhang (mattress on a bed frame - no box spring). I always wanted one that would cover the entire bed so it didn't look weird and I could always share with a partner - now when I say I wanted one - I mean I wanted one purely because of the thick knot aesthetics. Again, it looks cool! I've always found it challenging to get tired at night but once tired and hop into bed, I usually fall asleep quick and stay asleep quite well so I didn't see a true need for the properties of a weighted blanket. Anywho, long story short, I bought the king sized and for the past few weeks, I have been extremely surprised to find out how comforting it is to sleep under a weighted blanket! As a 37 year old with a stressful career, naps have been crucial and exciting but now, I'm so eager to climb under a sheet with this Bearaby on top. I don't know what it's doing exactly but its doing something positive for my sleep if not just making it more relaxing. Note - I have always slept under a Berkshire fleece blanket all year long as it felt most relaxing - I've always hated the…

    Our king size weighted blanket measures 76” x 80” and is designed to fit just right on king beds! You can take a look at our weight/size guide to see how it looks on different mattresses.

    Our king size Hugger is designed to deliver just the right level of Deep Touch Pressure (DTP) for two people, and it could also be a good choice if you’re looking for a heavier option just for you!

    We generally recommend choosing a weighted blanket that’s around 10% of your individual body weight, but when sharing a weighted blanket as a couple, the weight should distribute proportionally based on the amount of the blanket each person is resting beneath.

    Our weighted king size blankets get their weight only from layers of soft, sustainable fibers.
