Soft Blankets

Softness of blankets often comes down to personal preference! Some people prefer a smooth and soft fabric, while others prefer their soft blanket to be made of more textured, plush material. We generally consider our softest throw blanket to be our Muslin Cocoon, which is a muslin throw blanket made of 100% organic cotton muslin.

Some soft throw blankets are described as “minky blankets”, which refers to the ultra textured, almost fuzzy fabric that they’re made of. The plush material makes these super soft throw blankets comforting and cozy. Our Plushknit Cocoon is similar to a sustainably made minky blanket, since it gets its soft texture from GRS-certified upcycled Plushknit.

Soft throw blankets like our Muslin Cocoon and Plushknit Cocoon can be washed cold on a gentle cycle, using mild detergent. Tumble dry low. Do not bleach.

The healthiest blanket to sleep with will help keep you snug without overheating! Muslin blankets, which are often used to swaddle babies, also work incredibly well as soft blankets for adults, and their breathable, natural cotton material allows air to flow all night long.
