Cuddling

A bolster pillow is a versatile cushion that supports your body at any time of day. It holds the weight of your neck, knees, back, or shoulders as you rest on it, which alleviates pressure and helps to reduce joint pain.

Side sleepers can hold a bolster pillow between their arms to support the head and neck, while back sleepers can place a bolster pillow under their knees to prevent lower back pain. Bolster pillows can also be used for lumbar support while seated in a chair or couch, or as armrests while typing. They can even be used as a prop for practicing yoga!

You can use the Bearaby Cuddling at night or during the day, and experiment with different ways of curling up to see what feels the most comfy. It’s a great cylinder pillow for back sleepers, and its compact size means you can carry it with you as a travel pillow. It’s sure to bring excellent snuggles wherever you go!

Our Cuddling is about as natural as it gets. It’s filled with satisfyingly squashy Melofoam™, which is a responsive foam made from sap tapped directly from rubber trees in Sri Lanka. The sap is collected in coconuts and gently steamed to form a bouncy, breathable foam. It’s a completely zero-waste process, and our Cuddling is fully biodegradable and compostable. Melofoam™ is also GOLS-certified, which means it’s completely organic, socially responsible, and traceable through every step of the supply chain.

Our Cuddling Covers are made of GOTS-certified organic, long-staple cotton that has been pre-washed for buttery softness – just like your favorite t-shirt. We are committed to using only 100% organic cotton from India as it makes a better life for the people who grow it, and a better product for the people who use it. Organic cotton also uses 90% less water than conventional farming methods, so it’s kinder to the planet, too.

Bolster pillows can be round or rectangular, but they’re generally a long cylindrical shape, smaller than a body pillow and larger than an accent pillow. 

People often use bolster pillows for extra bedtime support in addition to a traditional rectangular pillow. Knee bolster pillows are especially popular with back sleepers because they help remove stress from the lower back and hips. 

Bolster pillows are also a common comfy addition to everyday seating, adding snuggly dimension to couches or armchairs. We don’t recommend machine washing the inner Melofoam™ of your Cuddling, but you can wash the Cuddling Cover cold with similar colors using mild detergent. Tumble dry low and warm iron if needed. Do not bleach.

The Cuddler is a full-body pillow for head-to-toe support, while the Cuddling is a small bolster pillow that provides soothing support anywhere, anytime. Both are made of the same satisfyingly squashy Melofoam™ and come with base covers made of GOTS-certified organic cotton.
