Body pillows can relieve stress and alleviate joint, neck, or back pain.

The Cuddler is made from satisfyingly squashy, plant-based Melofoam™ – the same sustainable material that fills our Hugget knot pillows.

Our Cuddler comes with a removable, washable white cover made of 100% organic cotton – a sustainable body pillowcase! Additional Cuddler covers can be purchased in the same shades as our Cotton Nappers, so you can style your sleep with less stress.

Did you know?
Ergonomics is a scientific discipline that studies the interactions between humans and their physical environments. Our Cuddler is ergonomically designed, meaning that it molds to the contours of each person’s body!

The Cuddler has landed! If you’re looking for a new spooning partner, you’re in luck. Made from GOLS-certified, plant-based Melofoam™, the Cuddler is designed to mold to your body, alleviating pressure and supporting you all over.

Here at Bearaby, we strive to create sustainable comfort that provides real sensory relief. It started with our signature weighted blankets. Then we launched Huggets – our sensory knot pillows that help squeeze away stress. Now, after hearing how much you love hugging those Huggets close, we’re delighted to introduce you to the Cuddler: made from responsive Melofoam™ in full-body form.

Support That Melts Away Stress

Have you ever woken up in the morning feeling like you “slept funny?” Maybe it’s an ache in your shoulder or tension in your neck. Maybe the muscles in your arms or legs are sore. Whatever the case, pain after a full night’s sleep is no laughing matter.

The Cuddler is designed to alleviate this discomfort by providing full-body support. The pillow weighs 8.8 lbs and curves to your body, which can help align your limbs and spine for a more restful night’s sleep.

How you use your Cuddler depends on your unique sleep needs. You can hug it close to support your shoulders and legs, fold it beneath your head and neck, or position it behind you for a sturdy sense of security. And if you tend to toss and turn in bed, holding onto your Cuddler can help your body to stay calm.

Of course, your joints aren’t just uncomfortable at night. If you find it difficult to relax on your couch or office chair, the Cuddler might be a welcome upgrade. You can adjust it to cushion your back, neck, and arms however you like. It could be just what you need to feel a little more supported throughout the day.

What’s Special About The Cuddler

Designed to be ergonomic, soothing, and easy to clean, our organic Cuddler comes with a few unique features.

Cuddles Without Compromise

To create a snuggly and supportive body pillow, we use Melofoam™, the same material that fills our Hugget knot pillows. Melofoam™ is a satisfyingly squashy GOLS-certified natural rubber foam made from the sap of hevea trees. The sap is collected in coconuts and gently steamed to produce a spongey, airy foam – perfect for providing squashable comfort.

You may have encountered memory foam body pillows, which have a lifespan of only 2-3 years, or body pillows filled with microbeads, which become pollutants in nature and clutter in the home. Unlike these options, Melofoam™ is soft, strong, and sustainable. It is fully biodegradable and can last for up to 20 years.

The outer cover of the Cuddler is made from GOTS-certified cotton. We are committed to using only 100% organic cotton from India as it makes a better life for the people who grow it and a better product for the people who use it. Organic cotton also uses 90% less water than conventional farming methods, making it easier on the planet!

Thanks to this sustainable combination of Melofoam™ and organic cotton, our Cuddler is also ultra breathable, meaning it allows air to flow and keeps you cool through the night.

Swappable Style

Since your Cuddler will last you a long time, we wanted to make it as versatile as possible. This is why every Cuddler comes with a fully removable, washable white cover. You can purchase additional Cuddler Covers separately in any of our core Cotton Napper colors.

Maybe you’ll keep the pillow in its natural white form for bedtime, but zip it into Evening Rose or Moonstone Grey for living-room-couch time. Whatever the case, you can rest easy knowing that your body pillow is simple to clean. And when you’re not using it, the Cuddler can be tied into a tidy knot for easy storage in any room.

Ergonomic Design

What does it mean for a pillow to be ergonomic? You may have heard this word used to describe many products for your home, but what does it actually imply?

The study of ergonomics is all about efficiency and safety surrounding humans and the objects we use. When it comes to retail, “ergonomic” is a catch-all term to describe products that are designed specifically for the human body. So an ergonomic body pillow is one that molds to the shape of your body. And that’s exactly what the Cuddler does!

If you’ve met Melofoam™ already through our Huggets, you’ll know how satisfyingly squashy this material is. Beyond its practical durability and sustainable origins, it’s a great source of sensory stress relief, allowing you to squeeze away your worries at the end of a long day.

The Cuddler is intended to bring this comfort and relief to your whole body, from head to toe. Its smooth, adaptable design allows it to support your limbs however you like to lounge.

Whether you’re using it in a reading nook, camping hammock, or bunk bed, the Cuddler will shape to the contours of your body, melting away stress for better rest.

How Do Body Pillows Work?

Many people buy body pillows for specific purposes: they might be looking for a pregnancy pillow, a pillow that helps with back pain, or even a sleep aid while recovering from surgery. Body pillows are useful in all of these situations for similar reasons: they’re big enough to support your whole body and stay put in one place.

But how do body pillows actually work? And what’s the best body pillow for you?

You may not have used a full-body pillow before, but you’re (probably!) familiar with the way a regular pillow supports your head and neck at night. If you’ve ever slept a night without a pillow, you’ll know how hard it is to fall asleep without one and how stiff your neck can be the next morning.

The way a body pillow works is simple: take the support of your regular pillow and apply it to whatever part of your body needs a little extra lift. Throw in the comfort of a cuddly hug, and you’ve got a recipe for a calmer night’s sleep.

Body pillows often come in specific shapes, since everyone has different pressure points that need support. That’s why we designed the Cuddler to be a versatile long body pillow. You can shape it however you like, so it will continue to be comfortable even if your sleep preferences change over time.

Build Your Bedroom With Bearaby

It’s no secret that the environment you sleep in impacts your quality of life. According to Sleep Foundation, there are a few major factors that can make or break a relaxing bedroom: temperature, noise, light, and bedding.

Bedding and temperature go hand-in-hand, which is one reason we launched our signature chunky-knit weighted blanket design back in 2018. Rather than relying on fillers to create weight, our Nappers distribute weight evenly across your body, delivering the benefits of weighted blankets without becoming overly warm.

Our Cuddler Cover come in the same color range as our Cotton Nappers, so if you’re looking to revamp your bedroom, you can mix and match your way to a soothing sleep sanctuary.

We would go so far as to call it the perfect pairing: The Cuddler supports your joints while your Napper applies even weight across your body. The result? An easier, cozier way to sleep.
