I was on the fence about the Cuddler for a while because, well, it's not the most affordable. I'm a side sleeper and I have to hug a pillow to fall asleep.
I'd been researching body pillows for a while and I'd been eyeing the Cuddler. It was long enough for someone that's 6 feet tall, it was aesthetically pleasing, there are plenty of different colors for covers, and this is a sustainable option. It's price held me off for a few months but I would come to learn this matched its value.
Having slept with this every night since I got it, I can tell you it was worth the money for me. No matter what side I wake up on the Cuddler is with me; meaning I take it with me when I turn in my sleep. Not only is it great for hugging, it's long enough to offer support through my knees and ankles. It's also long enough to support my back, wrap around my neck and hug, for the best naps I've had in a while. It is truly a versatile pillow that can be used in so many different ways.
The material is almost like a soft rubber (in the best way). I can tell by its weight and how it always springs back, that this pillow won't succumb to the pitfalls of other pillows over time -- lumpy, flat, etc. This is sustainable in the best way, the kind you only have to purchase once in your life (and sustainable for the planet!).

What is the purpose of a body pillow? How do you use it?
A body pillow helps to alleviate pressure and tension throughout your body by supporting you all over. It holds the weight of your limbs, head, or body as you rest on it, which takes the stress off your joints and helps to reduce back, neck, and joint pain.
Body pillows can provide a lot of comfort to pregnant people, helping them to get comfortable at night, and they’re also great for keeping you still, so they’re a good option for restless sleepers, too.
You can use the Bearaby Cuddler at night or during the day, and experiment with different ways of cuddling up to see what feels the most comfy! You can wrap our long body pillow around you and use it to prop you up while you’re sitting, hug it close to your body, put it under your knees, or gently rest your head and top arm and leg on it while you sleep. It’s a great body pillow for side sleepers and works brilliantly as a pregnancy pillow. It also gives excellent full-body hugs on demand!
What is the Bearaby Cuddler body pillow made of?
Our Cuddler is about as natural as it gets. It’s filled with satisfyingly squashy Melofoam™, which is a responsive foam made from sap tapped directly from rubber trees in Sri Lanka. The sap is collected in coconuts and gently steamed to form a bouncy, breathable foam. It’s a completely zero-waste process, and our Cuddler is fully biodegradable and compostable. Melofoam™ is GOLS-certified, which means it’s completely organic, socially responsible, and traceable through every step of the supply chain.
The outer shell of our Cuddler is made from our supersoft GOTS-certified organic cotton. We are committed to using only 100% organic cotton from India as it makes a better life for the people who grow it, and a better product for the people who use it. Organic cotton also uses 90% less water than conventional farming methods, so it’s kinder to the planet, too.
The Cuddler’s inner Melofoam™ won’t come into direct contact with your skin during daily use, but if you’re sensitive to natural rubber materials, it’s best to check in with your allergist before snuggling up
How do I clean my Cuddler?
We don’t recommend machine washing the inner Melofoam™ of your Cuddler, but you can wash the Cuddler cover cold with mild detergent and tumble dry low. Do not bleach.
Is a body pillow comfortable to lounge with or is it meant to be for sleep?
The Bearaby Cuddler is designed for functional wellness as well as home decor. It’s great to lounge with during the day, to use as a back support while you sit on your bed or couch, and it’s also fantastic for sleep. The best way to use it is the way that suits you best!
Does Bearaby sell body pillow covers?
We’re happy to report that we do sell body pillow covers!
